This chef-guided food tour takes a journey through Pacific Northwest culture by tasting Seattle’s best artisan vendors in the famous Pike Place Market. Enjoy diverse tastings at 9 different locations— and food options like chocolate covered cherries, chowder, pizza, and much more. All groups are kept to 10-11 guests to ensure easier navigation of the market, more tastings, and a better platform to ask questions and interact with the group. Leave with a 10% discount card to shop and explore after the tour.

This is a walking tour that does require a moderate amount of physical fitness due to distance, small hills, stairs and cobblestone terrain.

Meeting Location: is 1600 First Ave outside of Simply Seattle. We meet on the street. Chef will be wearing a black chef coat

Please arrive 10 minutes early. Once the tour leaves the starting point we cannot catch you up as it is a moving tour and guides choose their own routes.

This was a great food tour/market tour with so many samples. The salmon, the cheeses, the truffles, oh my! Chef John was the perfect tour guide with his energy, years of work at the market (and therefore friendships with merchants) and knowledge of its history. We would take this tour again.

I live in British Columbia and wanted to take my boyfriend to a Seattle Seahawks game for his birthday. Luckily there was a game on October 3rd, his birthday so booked a couple of nights in Seattle to take in the game and take in some of the city’s highlights. I came across a Chef Guided Tour of Pikes Market and booked it for us the morning of October 3rd. What an awesome way to lick off my boyfriends birthday. John, our Chef/Guide was absolutely amazing with his knowledge and history of the market. We had plenty of tastings as we went along and a card for discounts at some of the best vendors. The stop at the truffle shop was one of my favourite - ended up dropping a few dollars there with goodies to take home

Chef John made our tour fun, interesting, and with laughs. We learned history, how the market works and how good some of the foods are! We went back to take advantage of our discount at some of the stores. If you are passionate about food, this is the tour to take!
