This chef-guided food tour takes a journey through Pacific Northwest culture by tasting Seattle’s best artisan vendors in the famous Pike Place Market. Enjoy diverse tastings at 9 different locations— and food options like chocolate covered cherries, chowder, pizza, and much more. All groups are kept to 10-11 guests to ensure easier navigation of the market, more tastings, and a better platform to ask questions and interact with the group. Leave with a 10% discount card to shop and explore after the tour.

This is a walking tour that does require a moderate amount of physical fitness due to distance, small hills, stairs and cobblestone terrain.

Meeting Location: is 1600 First Ave outside of Simply Seattle. We meet on the street. Chef will be wearing a black chef coat

Best to eat lightly before you go so you can enjoy ALL the samples. The samples along with the interesting information were the highlights of the tour. Lots of things to see and so much history to take in makes you want to take the tour again. We choose the chef guided tour over the regular tour and I'm glad we did.

If you’re a Foodie like me and you’re in Seattle, I know you’ll visit Pike Place Market. Don’t try to see the market without at Chef’s Tour. We stopped and tasted at least 10 shops and learned about the history, workings, and unique service of the whole market. The best thing your guide moves you straight into the best stops; crispy bacon on a stick, Best yogurt of your life, clam chowder lovely thick & creamy, fresh cheese made into mac/ cheese, truffles countless ways, and chocolate & cherries. You’ll also get the opportunity to purchase at the shops without waiting in line. We were also able to bring all sealed food onto the airport.

Sarah was a great guide - introduced us to all of the best vendors, foods and history of the market. We sampled a nice array of products throughout. So informative that after the tour, I assembled the makings for a great meal at my vacation rental that night!
