We had a lovely time with Chef Sarah! She mixed in a wonderful narrative of Pike Place Market’s history along with really neat cooking tips with the foods she showed us. Sarah is energetic and fun, and the foods we tried felt special and top-notch. I wish I could have just followed her around all day! If you’re a new, first time visitor to Seattle like I am, I definitely recommend this tour. I’ll definitely do it again next time I visit!

Chef Sara was our outstanding guide on an intimate tour of the Pike Place Market. Not only did she possess deep knowledge of the history of the market, she also knew the history of each vendor we visited! My nephew and I both love to cook and this tour provided fantastic ideas for the use of veggies, fruit, sausage, smoked fish, truffles and chocolate in a variety of dishes. We loved the tour and really enjoyed seeing the Market through Sara's eyes. I am a naturalist guide with Evergreen Escapes and I led a trip the day after taking Sara's tour. I told my guests about the tour and I know for sure one of them booked a tour the next day with Eat Seattle while on my tour! I like that kind of cross-pollination when sharing our beautiful region with guests!

Absolutely loved this tour! Our Chef Sara was extremely knowledgeable and took us to some great places for tastings. She also had wonderful food preparation tips. The market is so big it was nice to get the fast track of some of the better places to visit. Learning the history of the market was fun too. I would definitely do this tour again.
