We had an amazing time with Jacquie learning the history of the market and the people that worked and lived there. She was very personable and answered all our questions. The food was awesome and she was very accommodating of our friend who was gluten free. It was a great experience, thank you Jacquie❤️

Loved going on this tour with Chef Jacquie. Since she grew up in the area, she is very familiar with the market's history, vendors, & where to go/what to try. Delicious tastings (my favorite was the sfogliatella from Anthony's), & we left the food tour pleasantly full. The 4 star review is really due to the limitations of life in the time of COVID-19 (not due to Chef Jacquie or the food we had) -- at a couple of stops, we had our tastings prior to seeing the shops (due to limitations on the # of people who could enter the shop at the same time). This limitation was understandable, but during other food tours we've been on, the combination of the shop/vendor + food has been a particular highlight. Would we go on another food tour with Chef Jacquie? Definitely.

Going to Philly for the first time? IMMEDIATELY reserve spots for the Italian Market tour. To say that Chef Jacquie is a great tour leader is insulting. Chef Fantasticandundoubtedlythebest food-tourleaderever Jacquie is closer to it! We went to every great place in the market, most being spots we would not have known about. But Jacquie knows what's up; where to stop and what to order. She begins each tour with a marvelous overview, explaining how and why who came here when, and fields all the questions with excellent answers. Just a marvelous way to spend part of a day, with food, food shopping, kitchen-utensil shopping, and more, more, more!
