It turns out the answer is "it depends". My wife and I took this wonderful tour on Sunday. We met our guide Jackie Kelly at 10:30 and we were done by 12:45. we toured the Philadelphia Italian market and sampled many wonderful foods. My favorite was the cheese shop and the pizza but the balsamic tap room and Italian bakery were great too. Our guide Jackie was terrific. She clearly loves her job and the market. She was knowledgeable and entertaining. The walking was very easy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My husband & I took the Taste of the Italian Market Tour lead by Chef Jacquie. Jacquie was wonderful! Everywhere Jacquie took us the food was fantastic. Hands down THE BEST CHEESES I have ever tasted. There is so much history here. The people we met along Italian Market were amazing. We cannot wait to go back to roam on our own. We are certainly very excited now to experience the Passyunk and Chestnut Hill Food Tours and we will be requesting Jacquie again. She is so much fun and so friendly as if we’ve been friends forever. We loved it all,… the Culture, the Community, the Food, and the Love. Thank you for the experience.

Jackie the owner and our tour guide is gorgeous inside and out. A wealth of history of the Italian Market area. Tour gives you a taste of pizza, olive oil, chips and salsa, cheese, coffee, and a cannoli. We go to meet her new guide Michael who was also a joy to be with yesterday. Highly recommend this tour!!
