Jacquie, Thanks for the history of the Philly streets and the history of the food we love so much. You were a joy to be with and we all truly enjoyed it. That's why we went back and bought some great food items. For a couple of hours I think it was well worth the time and we all had fun and food.

I was very lucky to have a private tour of the Italian market with Chef Jackie and to try the best samples of the exquisite food from some of the most traditional vendors. Chef Jacquie pointed out the best products available from each vendor and offered great recommendations of what to buy and where to eat. It felt like going around with an old friend who is an insider and tells you not just the history but the most interesting stories about the tenacity, resilience, and success of the immigrants that came to call this area home. I highly recommend this tour for anyone that wants in-depth knowledge of the Italian market while enjoying delicious food.

Chef Jackie gave us a great walking tour of the Italian Market in South Philly. We met a number of local vendors and tried great cheeses, breads, olive oils, and pizza. As a former local, she shared interesting stories about the neighborhood and even managed to capture the attention of our 10 yr old. Highly recommended!
