I am native to Phila., but have never shopped in the Italian Market. I shceduled this tour while hosting visitors from England, and a few other local friends joined the tour. Chef Jacqui was great! She is very personable and knowlegable about the Market. Not only about the food and shops but the history of the immigrant story as well. Absolutely recommend for anyone who has been afraid to venture the Italian Market on their own.

I have lived in Philly for 4 years and never been to the Italian market! I scheduled the tour for me and my dad (as a gift) on a Friday afternoon. We had so much fun! Chef Jacquie is awesome and made us feel right at home. Super knowledgeable about everything related to the Italian market, Italy, food, and even European travel and cuisine in general. We learned a lot of history while meeting the store owners (very welcoming) and having so many tastes of different foods. Great food. Great shopping. And great entertainment! Highly recommend.
