The Chena Hot Springs Resort is an interesting collection of attractions with the hot springs pool and ice museum being our highlights. Our driver/tour guide, Bob did a great job a sharing his insight, knowledge and experience as a 40+ year resident of Alaska. He even made it to point to make sure that we got to see some of the Alaska pipeline and wildlife on our drive out to the hot springs.

Great place with friendly staff. Our guide Joseph was fun and easy going. He can spot Moose on the drive and let us take photos and use his binoculars. A day we will never forget hopefully we can come back one day.

What a great and fun experience. Our guide, Joe, was a hoot. He had so many great Alaska stories to tell on our way to the Springs. He was very knowledgeable certainly answered every question our small group had. He even stopped to let us photograph a moose that he spotted. Nice job Joe. Sitting in The Springs was relaxing and hot. We didn’t stay real long. However, once out you could cool off in the Ice Museum! The museum was obviously cold inside, but large parkas were provided. Inside it was amazing. All in all definitely worth the trip.
