What To Expect

Absolutely Chicago Segway Tours

There is nothing like seeing the city on a Chicago Segway tour. With our exceptional guides, you will get an amazing overview of the Windy City's sights and sounds. You get up close to all of the attractions and cover a whopping 7/8 miles round trip. Segways are intuitive and easy to ride; if you can stand you can ride! You only glide with a maximum of 8 people per tour guide, so you are guaranteed to have personalized and fun adventure in the Second City that is second to none. Guests are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to the tour's scheduled departure time to check in and fill out waivers. All guests will be fitted with helmets. The tour begins at the departure time with a training video and comprehensive one-on-one training with the tour guide. Training ensures that even the most nervous guest feels comfortable for the duration of the tour.

This was my first time on a Segway, and it was so quick and easy to learn. AJ, our guide, did a great job training our group on how to safely operate the Segway, as well as guiding our group through the city with historical fun facts! It was a great way to see the city of Chicago - one member of our group lives in Chicago and had never explored some of the sights we saw. I'm definitely planning my next Segway adventure this summer. Thanks for an awesome experience!

This was my first experience riding a Segway, and I am now a huge fan! Plenty of training was provided - a brief instructional video, a group orientation, one-on-one training and then plenty of practice! Aaron provided my one-on-one training and was so nice, patient and helpful. Our guide, Pat, did an excellent job pointing out highlights from buildings to history to statues. He maintained an upbeat commentary, considering he probably gives countless tours. Riding a Segway was so easy and actually quite intuitive. I didn't want the tour to ever end!

We had a great time on the tour. Segways were easy to control once you get the hang of it and the tour guide was very supportive and patient. The tour guide is why the trip was so great. She was so knowledgeable about the city and thought us a lot I didn't know. I had been to Chicago many times before and even lived there for awhile and I learned more on that trip than I ever had.
