We went in December for the Holidays. I will be posting a trip report on the Chicago message boards. This was so awesome. What a great thing to do on a cold day. We took the lunch cruise and did NOT pay for the guaranteed window seat however the boat was not full so we did get a window seat. We didn't have super high expectations for the food however it was so so so good... especially the desserts. Everything looked & tasted great and was also served very hot. yum! The view this provided of Chicago after seeing it from land was magnificent. The most notable thing however was the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. They were so fun. offering to take pics, dancing with some of the crowd... just super friendly. No matter how nice something is, if the staff is not happy, that can ruin it. That was not the case here. Everyone genuinely seemed like they wanted to make sure the guests had a great time and that's priceless. I would highly recommend doing this especially if you are coming in the winter when it's cold out. You can still step outside if you like on the front, back and top of the boat. The price is great for what you get. Get your tickets in advance online and save a little money.

We had a great time from the food to the music. Our server was very attentive, and gave my mom a birthday day dessert and shrimp cocktail!

We took our LA cousins on the lunch cruise. They have been in Chicago before, but have never seen it from the lake. Not only were they impressed by the views, the staff, the food etc. they loved the music. A very fun time.
