We had a good time. We paid for a window seat and they sat us right at the entry, so we asked if we could be moved. The hostess was really nice and accommodating. The food was good. They had nice seating on the top deck. Activities to keep the kids busy too. They offered to take our picture without having to ask. Nice atmosphere. Not too crowded. Not too long, not too short. The only thing was when we got moved we never had a server. Didn't really need one I guess. The bartender assisted when we needed a drink and was nice about it. The views of the city were awesome. Would definitely recommend.

The weather was superb which made the trip even better. My husband, daughter and I had a magnificent time. Food was good and plentiful, The excursion was timed well to make for a full afternoon! Great views of Chicago!

My sister and I were travelling from Australia and were really keen to do a cruise to see the famous Chicago skyline. We researched a vast number & decided on Spirit Cruises as many reviewers said it provided the best view. Although it was more expensive than other options, that was exactly what we wanted. On the day of our cruise however, we did not see any views of the Chicago skyline, in fact we didn’t even leave the dock. Whilst I understand that safety is paramount when a ship is carrying such a large quantity of people, I was very surprised that there was no announcement and that we were not told for over an hour into the “trip” that we would not be leaving the dock (only after I enquired into when we would be leaving). The manager was very amenable, offered us complementary drinks & engagement in games/dancing. Whilst I appreciate that others enjoy this party atmosphere, my sister & I were not looking for free drinks, we were there to see the city skyline. Unfortunately rebooking another cruise was not an option for us as we do not live in the country & will most likely not be back for a number of years. Apart from an open bar, we were not offered any other reimbursement. I’m not someone who likes to post unfavourable reviews online so I emailed the company directly. I still have not received a response. If you’re looking for a party cruise where food is plentiful, drinks are flowing and the dance floor is open, this is the boat for you. However if you are looking at a nice cruise that leaves the dock and takes you out to see the Chicago skyline, I would not recommend this company.
