I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the recent dining experience my party endured on your boat. I was under the impression that we were in for an enjoyable evening, but unfortunately, it was marred by a series of unacceptable delays and lapses in service.
Firstly, our seating was delayed, setting an unfortunate tone for the evening. Once seated, we noticed an absence of silverware on our table. I suppose it was assumed we would eat with our hands, as we had to wait an inordinate amount of time for utensils to be provided.
The waiting game didn’t end there. We endured a torturous one hour and fifteen-minute wait for our entrees. This, without the courtesy of a starter meal, which I had naively expected to be part of the dining experience. We repeatedly requested bread as an appetizer, only to be consistently ignored. Perhaps our hunger was intended to enhance the flavor of the meal?
After finally receiving our entrees, the trend of delays continued. It took an additional 30 minutes to be served dessert. By this point, our patience was as thin as the service we received.
Given the numerous issues that tainted our evening, I believe it is only fair to request compensation for our disappointing experience. A complimentary dinner cruise for seven people would be a suitable gesture to restore our faith in your service, or a full refund of today
I hope this feedback will prompt a serious review of your service standards, as our experience was far from what one would expect from a reputable establishment.
