We happened to stumble upon this tour by accident, while standing outside of the pirate museum debating if some of our group were too young for the atmosphere. Along comes a pirate, and he starts talking about the stocks and the cannon in front of the museum. After a minute we figured out he was a tour guide. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. He explained that they'd just started touring a couple of days before, and invited us to join in on the last few points of interest toward the end of the tour. He was fun and whimsical enough to entertain the kids, and threw in jokes, facts, and historical info for the adults. I've been visiting St Augustine all of my life, and never knew some of the things he mentioned. I learned more in 20 minutes than I have in the past 5 or 6 various tours I've taken there. The kids loved handling the pirate gear, and "looting" the store for a treasure chest. It's up and coming, a few kinks could be worked out, but for a brand new "walking tour" geared toward families with younger kids (3-12) I highly recommend. Kids 12.50, adults always free. The advertised holiday rate (Labor Day) was $10 for kids.
