What could be more fun for three generations of fourteen ladies from the same family, who love foods, than to spend the morning with Alana on this food tour. We walked the streets of Little Italy and Chinatown, heard stories, learned about the cultures, and tasted some of the best foods in those neighborhoods. We were intrigued with the stories of the tenemant housing and the extended living in the nearby park. The homemade mozzarella cheese with prosciutto melted in our mouths. The dumplings with pork and chives were the best ever! We even enjoyed a sit down Thai dinner and concluded with amazing cupcakes with a delicious touch of a Chinese fruit. We would love to go back and visit this area again!

We took our Girl Scout Troop (age11) and they thought it was awesome! Informative, tasty and a great way to learn about the culture, history and foods of Chinatown and Little Italy. Not only great for visitors, as New Yorkers, we all enjoyed this tour. We would highly recommend it to all. Plenty of food and tour guide was great! Grace

My friend and I bravely fought the elements (snow in October) to participate in this walking/tasting tour. Alana, our tour guide, was wonderful despite the horrible weather. She did her very best to educate 6 of us under challenging conditions. We learned a great deal despite snow, wind and rain in our faces. The food we tasted was excellent, and Alana gave us great insight into each type of cuisine, as well as Little Italy and Chinatown. I will definitely take this tour again in the warmer weather and have recommended it to my friends.
