This tour was fantastic - Time and money well spent! Our tour guide Patrick was very knowledgeable, fun and was able to communicate with group members of all ages. The tour group size was small which was really great. Patrick knows his stuff and deftly navigated the security lines and transportation. For first time visitors to NYC, this tour was perfect - no stress and was very enjoyable. Highly recommend!
This was an amazing tour. There is a reason everyone rates this as a 5 star tour. Our tour operator - Nicole was incredibly informative and very helpful. I loved that we were able to skip the line too - it was so very crowded. Tips: 1. Definitely wear comfortable shoes that you have no issues walking around in for hours. 2. Plan for more than 4 hours if you want to explore Ellis Island. The tour ends at Ellis Island, and you can take some extra time to explore the island before you get on the ship back. 3. Take water and/or snacks. There are snacks available on the boat and at both stops, but the options are limited and expensive. 4. When you get ready to leave Ellis Island, know that it is not a queue. Fill in the gaps, you will get on that boat sooner.
This tour was too-notch! Our guide Stephanie was enthusiastic and well prepared. She knew all the best ways to see the statue and explore Ellis island. We had plenty of time to look up our ancestors and we were so grateful for that experience! Thank you to Stephanie and Top Dog tours!
