The guided portion of the tour is 3.5-4 hours (subject to ferry schedule). However, to fully experience Ellis Island, it is recommended that you spend an additional hour on the island afterward

Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
If canceled because of dangerous weather, you will be given the option of an alternative tour date or full refund
Photography is allowed on the tour; monopods and tripods are not
No weapons of any kind (e.g. pocket knives, pepper spray, Swiss Army knives, etc.) are allowed at the Statue of Liberty. Please leave these items at home
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the tour's designated start time. The tour departs promptly and no refunds will be given for guests who miss the tour due to being late
Once the tour begins, if you make the decision to not follow the guide or their instructions, we cannot guarantee we can reunite you with the group.
This tour is not wheelchair accessible
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at least 21 years of age.
DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE TOUR IF YOU ARE LATE WE WILL MOST LIKELY NOT BE ABLE TO CATCH YOU UP WITH THE GROUP.

I Thought I was paying for VIP front of the line great experience however it turned out to be a general admission ticket to get on the boat I had to stand in a long hotline fight for my seat get off do my own thing I'm pretty much on my own so I could've just bought my single day ticket and a lot more cheaper so please correct your announcement online and stop misguiding out of towners

Request James as your tour guide, you will not regret it! The man is full of any and all facts you need for not just Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, but the rest of the city as well! He knew how to get us all of the best views and was willing to take the best pictures for my 2 daughters and myself. He definitely helped make this an experience that we won’t forget.

Alyssa, our tour guide, was excellent. She was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. The tour is worth while, but expect the initial security line to take some time prior to boarding the ferry to Liberty Island. The Ellis Island museum after is ok and can be skipped, though we were given a great overview by Alyssa prior to entering the museum.
