A couple of us celebrated our birthday with a group of friends at the Blazin'M Ranch. Much to do there including target shooting, wagon ride, ropin' and drinking (mine was a sasprilla, my wife a cream soda). Dinner was down home and filling. The show was fantastic and so worth the ticket! Great music and good times was had by all!

First off the staff is fabulous. They are welcoming and friendly. The show is what you go for, not really the dinner, fortunately. I am real foodie. I would not ever eat at Olive Garden or Applebees, so I did not expect to be wowed by the buffet. Bring along your favorite hot sauce or spice packet for the ribs and beans. They are bland. The tater and biscuit are pretty good. However, do not attempts to eat the stuff under the ice cream. It is dry oatmeal on top of undercooked canned apples. Now forget the food and enjoy the country music show. They don't promise He Haw and they don't charge like it. The musicians are in the Arizona Country Music Hall of Fame and put on a fine show. The sound and lighting are outstanding. Take a seat cushion. The benches are hard and have no back.

Having experienced similar chuck wagon supper and shows in Wyoming and South Dakota, we had a good idea of what to expect, and the event certainly met those expectations. Most of these "suppers" are built on chicken, ribs, baked potato, some type of slaw/greens, beans and bread. If you are expecting a Cordon Bleu feast, please don't bother...but the food is good, seconds are free and offered along with free water, tea and lemonade. The show itself is a modern-day "Hee-Haw" with good singers and musicians (not great again, but enjoyable) along with the typical corny humor. If you just go with the flow of enjoying a peaceful evening you will like the experience. Realistically the price for the food and entertainment is reasonable....I'd say the price point is on target. Yes, you can purchase alcohol beverages, but the pricing is not gorging you. The shops sell merchandise, and there is a shooting range for a fee as well. Again, no one forces you to buy alcohol, merchandise or shoot...and there are free games of corn hole, horseshoes and such. Do they get you to arrive early to perhaps indulge in buying things? of course, but no one forces you...and we didn't. Would we go back? Probably, because overall its a cheap night out. It is long bench seating....try to get a seat facing the stage....
