Joining Discover Richmond Tours means exploring Church Hill in a unique way. You will sample delicious food and snacks from up to 5 different restaurants, cafes, and bakeries, possibly including wood-fired pastries, classic Richmond comfort food, authentic Ethiopian Fare, and more! You’ll learn about the birthplace of Richmond and it’s heroes, and hear how our partner merchants got their start. But most of all, we’ll make sure you have fun doing it.

Be sure to bring water and comfortable shoes – we’ll be standing at most of our stops, and we’ll be in and out too quickly for water and other beverages to be served.

First of all, arrive hungry. This is not just a "tasting" at each stop. It is a lot of food! We really enjoyed discovering award-winning establishments right here in our own beautiful city. Learning about the history of Church Hill was an added bonus. Richmond has much to be proud of and that is clearly evident on this tour. Our guide, Taylor, was interesting, fun, and could answer any and all questions about Richmond. Note - our son gave this tour to us as a Christmas present. What a great gift to anyone new or old to Richmond!

Excellent tour with full portions of food. Come hungry. Olivia added a nice historical tour as well. Don't be concerned about the walking as the walking is quite minimal.

This was the best food tour ever - not just tastings, but full.servings of a variety of delicious food and beverages. Olivia, our guide was absolutely fantastic. She was fun and interesting. She was not only knowledgeable about the food, but also was very familiar with the neighborhood and its history
