Joining Discover Richmond Tours means exploring Church Hill in a unique way. You will sample delicious food and snacks from up to 5 different restaurants, cafes, and bakeries, possibly including wood-fired pastries, classic Richmond comfort food, authentic Ethiopian Fare, and more! You’ll learn about the birthplace of Richmond and it’s heroes, and hear how our partner merchants got their start. But most of all, we’ll make sure you have fun doing it.

Be sure to bring water and comfortable shoes – we’ll be standing at most of our stops, and we’ll be in and out too quickly for water and other beverages to be served.

Lindsey was absolutely incredible, beyond knowledgeable and full of energy. This is the perfect way to learn about an area of the city that is full of history. We were also introduced to small businesses providing some of the best food you can experience. Worth every second, will definitely do this again.

We recently moved to the area and the Church Hill food tour was an excellent way to learn about the history, culture, and food of the community. Our guide (Benedict) was very personable, engaging and informative and we loved every course on our 2 hour tour. We genuinely learned a lot, had a fun time exploring, and left with full bellies!
