Lots of delicious spots within walking distance between one another and well planned. There were two short visits at 8 1/2 for pizza and Sub Rosa for their amazing bread followed by a lengthier visit at Liberty Public House for sweet potato chili. The tour wrapped up at Proper Pie for a chicken and vegetables pie and then WMP for a cupcake. I enjoyed trying new foods and enjoying the sunny November afternoon. We also learned some local trivia from our tour guide. Great way to spend an afternoon!

J., thanks for coming last weekend! When I asked Lindsey what the group favorites were, she said very stop was mentioned - and you did the same here, so it must be true! - Brian

We thoroughly enjoyed the Chapel Hill food tour. The history of the area is so unique and the food is even better. My favorite was Sub Rosa bakery. The preserves and cheese croissant was out of this world. And you can never go wrong with Proper Pie! They served us an entire hand pie. So yummy!

I love doing food tours because 1) you get to eat good food from local restaurants, and 2) your guide tells you about the history of the area. It's a great way to be a tourist and also eat well. Our guide Annie was friendly and informative. We sampled pizza, bakery goods, chili, hand-held chicken pot pie, and ice cream. Everything was delicious and we went home full.
