I had read on the internet that the Circle line trips were excellent but, the one to go on was the Harbor Lights tour, I have to say people were right, this was one of the highlights of our holiday! We got their early and managed to great great seats, it was a sell out trip so if your going get their for 6 pm for 7 pm. There is a full bar on board but its a huge queue so again, as soon as you get on board get your drink. We were so lucky to have great weather, it was really mild for October and although it was very warm we were glad to have taken a jumper with us to wear later in the evening. The tour is fantastic, you sail out to the statue of Liberty then up under Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge and finally Williams burg Bridge, turn and go all the way back. Its pitch black on the way back but with all the lights of lower Manhattan its a beautiful sight. Just a great night out!

We went on the Harbour Lights Cruise on our recent trip to NYC and it was one of the best things we did all week, highly recommended. You get to see the whole city all lit up and twinkling and it is just beautiful, NYC by night is such a glorious sight! The tour guide, who I think was called Andy, was super and really knowledgeable without being overbearing. Get there REALLY early if you want a seat outside, we were an hour early and missed an outside seat (you can still go outside at either end of the boat but you have to stand, and dress warmly even on a warm day, it was 30 degrees Celsius the evening that we went but once the boat gets going it gets pretty cold! Avoid the bar as the queue is really really REALLY slow.

Informative, great crew and info, lady at the bar could’ve been better but the quality of the boat and bathrooms made up for it. They let you walk around.
