Nothing was missed on this tour. Our guide was excellent and offered so much insight and history to the cruise sights. Grand tour and get the upgrade the view from up top is great!

I recently took my niece from Florida on this cruise so that she could see the NYC skyline, the Statue of Liberty and other key sights. It was mid-September so just starting to get cool at night. The Harbor Lights cruise was just what we were looking for and enjoyed the evening. Drinks and beverages are at typical NY prices, The tour guide was pretty good and allowed for breaks in his recitation to allow you to simply enjoy. I recommend taking a sweater/jacket and getting there early if you want a good seat near the railing on the upper deck.

Paying a little extra for premium was worth the better seating and avoiding the ticket line. The tour started with the tour guide repeating the same message about seating and not blocking a couple of navigation windows, was mildly annoying. But once the boat left the dock, he was very informative and entertaining. The sights were great. I have been to the city many times for business, but never had the chance for the cruise. We had circled the entire island on the full circle tour on our honeymoon 50 years ago. Celebrating our anniversary, we chose this tour. The price was reasonable and the ride very pleasant. It was just very nice, calm experience. Just don't fall for the "taxi" being offered by the hucksters by the driveway when you leave. None of the vehicles were real taxis from what we could see. We crossed the street and walked a block and got a real taxi right away. A nice, safe ride with a properly regulated fare.
