I live in NYC and, on a lark, went with a friend, thinking it was a hokey tourist thing to do that would at least afford good views. In reality, it was an experience like trying to cross a street in times square for two hours - unbearably loud and crowded and the city views wete blocked by masses of people standing with their phones in the air. Side fun : the tour guide gave helpful pointers like, "You don't have to go to Little Italy to get good pizza." Is that a thing people think??
