We had booked the 7 pm Harbor Lights Cruise. We reached the Pier at 6:20 pm thinking we were early, however, we saw boarding had already begun. Upon boarding, we saw that the cruise was already quite full. We went to the upper deck and couldn't find a seat and decided to stand by the bar. We were told we couldn't stand there and were asked to find a seat on the lower deck or stand on the outside at the back of the lower deck. When we went down to the lower deck, there were no seats available there either. Luckily, we were able to find a spot to stand outside on the locker deck. The cruise would not have been valuable at all if we did not manage to get that spot.
The cruise was overbooked and ended up leaving 15 mins prior to the scheduled departure time as they couldn't board any more people. I am not sure if they had a back-up cruise for everyone else who arrived later and could not board by 6:45 pm.
