Booked through Costco Shore Tours on our recent Alaskan Cruise. Easy pick-up steps off the ship. Nice motor coach - not a huge bus. Bryan Terrell was our bus driver/guide... Very friendly, knowledgable, and informative - he really made the tour special. Several scenic photo stops, all the way up through White's Pass into the Canadian Yukon territory, passing over the famous single suspension bridge along the way. Trip was about 3.0 hours, with plenty of time left to explore Skagway. Route parallels the train much of the way, but much faster as the train must wind its way up to the Pass... plus more informative and less expensive! Highly recommend.

Took the tour which lasted about 2.5 hours and took us to the top of the mountain for a spectacular view. We got lucky with the weather and with an awesome tour guide Bryan. You cross over the Canada border just briefly and see some incredible vistas along the way. I’m glad we didn’t take the train which I image is much slower and less flexible. Another thing lucked out in was spotting a black bear and a porcupine! Perfect length for our family. Would do it again.

We recently took a cruise to Alaska and one of our stops was in Skagway. Very interesting town as it was the start of the Klondike Gold Rush. We chose the Southeast Tours company for a 2 1/2 city and Summit Tour. Our driver and guide was Peggie Thomas and she was a wealth of information! She is a retired school teacher and you can tell she really enjoys her job. These were smaller passenger buses and it gave everyone the opportunity to get off easily at every stop over those huge buses that are the norm when booking tours thru the cruise line.
