The tour is worth it. Recommend to do the entire ride first, then get off to where you decide to explore!

Leaving a bit of a mixed review for this experience. We ended up doing this bus tour on our last day in town. Our mistake, for sure! We had planned on getting tickets the afternoon before but our swamp tour took much longer than we had realized so the buses were wrapping up their day by the time we were done. We didn’t end up hopping on until almost noon which left us very little time to enjoy. & was just NOT cost effective at all. Our 1st driver & guide was FANTASTIC!!! The guide was upstairs & would communicate to the driver when seats would open upstairs & the driver advocated for me & my daughters to get upstairs once people exited rather than letting new riders run up there. I wish I remembered their names as they worked line a well oiled machine & deserve a shout out! We rode on 3/19 & it was the drivers 6yr work anniversary, if anyone knows who that was- pls tell her they really made an impression on us & were doing their jobs FLAWLESSLY. The guide had such a soothing voice & was funny & kind! We were sad to exit their bus but, that’s the point, hopping on & off!!! So we jumped off to go to the aquarium. We used the app to look for the next bus once finished but it wasn’t accurate AT ALL. Once we finally got on a bus, it was MISERABLE. The guide was annoying, rude & frankly. Seemed pretty lazy. They had no idea if any seats were available upstairs as he was riding downstairs. Then he was annoyed when we went up to check & didn’t find any, so came back down. I had assumed they all would run like the 1st did & the guide would be up top & help people find places to sit but NOPE. Not on this one. It was also SO HOT. A/C was broke. Guide was pretty rude about that as well when I started fanning myself with my brochure. Making comments over the intercom. Then it was a long drawn out speech from the driver to every one getting on/off as the time was winding down for the last loop. We hopped off to do some shopping at the French Market & then waited longer than expected to get back on to return to our car. We got luckier with the last driver/guide combo. Guide was up top again & was entertaining! & A/C was working, thankfully. Like most experiences, it depends on the guides you get! It really can make or break the whole experience!!! & unfortunately, we have very little control over that.

This was a great way to see the city and it was very informative. I will use again when I go back to New Orleans. There is so much to see.
