We bought a 3 day pass and it was well worth the money. There is so much to see in New Orleans and so much history to learn. The Hop On Hop Off tour is the way to do it. Not only is it very informative but it saves wear and tear on your feet and keeps you from having to drive to areas further off the beaten track. As a bonus for buying a 3day pass you get two walking tours: one of the French Quarter and one of the Garden District. Of the two, the Garden Tour was the best. The Garden Tour guide was Paige and she sure knew her stuff and was funny as well. We thoroughly enjoyed her tour. We highly recommend taking the Hop On Hop Off tour.

I have always loved the hop on hop off buses. Have used in many big cities,and New Orleans did not disappoint. They have the best guides that not only inform you about the city, but do it with such great attitudes and humor. And when I did have a small problem with my ticket being misplaced, they worked with me and were absolutely great about getting me back on the bus. Highly recommend!!

I personally did not ride the hop-on hop-off bus in NOLA, but I bought the tickets for my MIL and my dad. Initially, I thought it was a great idea for two seniors with different abilities since everyone can choose their own pace. However (this could have been a bad day for the tour company, but who knows), busses were broken down, when told to switch to another bus, that bus had a flat - only to return to the previous (and then very full) bus. My MIL mentioned that she couldn't hear the tour, no one stopped to point anything out, and every bus prompted you for tips, and that with all the breakdowns the busses were too crowded to get on, and you had to continuously wait on a 3rd or 4th bus. Sounded like a bummer to me, and was their worst NOLA tour experience that week, I felt so bad!
