The stadium serves as the home to the University of Southern California (USC) Trojans football team. The Coliseum is the first stadium to have hosted the Summer Olympic Games twice, in 1932 and 1984. DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES Unlike other large cities, many people visit Los Angeles without ever setting foot Downtown. Thatā€™s a shame, since Downtown LA is rich with historic architecture and cultural attractions, not to mention sports and entertainment complexes. This slide show gives you a preview of some of the cool things to do in Downtown Los Angeles that are worth a visit.
2
Griffith Observatory
GRIFFITH PARK OBSERVATORY,Hollywood Sign: The observatory is a popular tourist attraction with an excellent view of the Hollywood Sign, and an extensive array of space and science-related displays.
3
Hollywood Walk of Fame
WALK OF FAME (Hollywood Blvd) Grauman's Chinese Theatre - The Hollywood Walk of Fame - - Kodak Theater, (Home of the Oscars) - The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel , and many more famous places too numerous to list... Since the first star was awarded to Joanne Woodward, in 1960, celebrities and fictional characters that have contributed to the entertainment industry here have recognized with a star on Hollywoodā€™s Walk of Fame. There are now more than 2,300 of these five-pointed bronze stars including some of the most recent honorees such as Halle Berry, Jamie Foxx and Forrest Whitaker and The Munchkins, stars of the 1939 film ā€œThe Wizard of Oz.
4
Sunset Plaza
Lunch at Mel's Diner:The ultimate 50ā€™s dining experience! George Lucas filmed scenes for American Graffiti at a Melā€™s Diner. The one on Sunset Strip, where we stop for lunch on the full-day tour, is still a great place for celebrity spotting! You donā€™t ā€œhaveā€ to have lunch here ā€“ but why wouldnā€™t you want to? You just might recognize someone famous at the next table. Donā€™t let their clever disguise (Rayban(tm) sunglasses) fool you! Dine with the stars!
5
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive: This is a city where the pawn shops are called ā€œcollateral lenders,ā€ and make quick loans on Mercedes and Ferraris instead of toasters. This is a city where some of the clothing stores require customers to make advance reservations to shop, and where shoppers may routinely drop $100,000 or more in a single visit to a boutique on Rodeo Drive or Wilshire Blvd. A city where the post office offers valet parking. This townā€™s ā€œSister Cityā€ is none other than Cannes, France.
6
Santa Monica
Santa Monica Beach: Follow Americaā€™s most famous cross country highway to the Pacific Ocean, and you will find yourself at the Santa Monica Pier. Designed as a pleasure palace and park a century ago, currently this restored family playground is gearing up for its 100th Gala in 2009.
7
Venice Beach
Venice Beach: Hilary Duff shot a video here, Jim Morrison and the Doors and bandleader Benny Goodman both got their careers started here, and now it is the place actors Jane Fonda, Viggo Mortensen and Elijah Wood call home. Please note: Due to Venice Beach city conditions, we might substitute Venice Beach to Fisherman's Village in Marina Del Rey. Itā€™s Venice Beach, the free-spirited beach resort town beloved for its Bohemian character, boutiques, street performers, artists, fortune tellers on the boardwalk and as a stellar place for people-watching (not to mention star-gazing)!Muscle beach and much more....( LAX drop off is available at the end of the tour: 4:00 pm).

Tour was quite ok. Should swap venice beach for Santa Monica peir. Drop is off and then pick up. We were very late getting picked up. I had to ring couple of times. For this reason I would not recommend

Thank you for submitting your comments. The Venice/Santa Monica Pier situation has been a challenge for us. Our guests are divided. Some love Venice, others hate it. Since the advent of the Covid virus, the City of Santa Monica had implemented substantial restrictions on parking and tour buses making spending much time there very difficult. We appreciate your suggestion and are hoping for viable changes. With respect to your having had to call to follow up on our picking you up, we were delayed by traffic at the cruise ship terminal. Unfortunately, we are only allowed to "follow the flow" which is frequently not controlled very well by the port and can result in delays which are out of our control. It is very disappointing to receive negative reviews caused by that traffic.

This was the best tour for pickup at the Cruise Terminal after I debarked from my cruise. The driver was ready and waiting for us at the terminal and was patient with delays in offboarding. Driver John was incredibly funny, a safe driver, and took us all over LA showing us the hot spots. the tour took us to Griffith Park, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Sunset Blvd, Walk of Fame, Venice Beach, and Marina Del Rey. We weren't at each location long which was fine since this was more of a sampler tour of LA and we had lunch at Mel's Diner which was great. Definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking for a tour of the city, especially if you need to burn time before a late flight as they can take you right to LAX for drop off and can bring your luggage with you.

Thank you for submitting your review, I have shared your comments with John. He has asked me to thank you also. I understand that there were delays with the disembarcation process of your ship so the tour got off to a slow start. Happily John was able to make up for lost time along the way. We sincerely appreciate all you have said about the tour and hope will have an opportunity to serve you again.

Our guide was supposed to pick us up at 9AM from the Long Beach cruise terminal. Unfortunately, the ship wasnā€™t cleared on time and we didnā€™t disembark until 9:45. John waited patiently and was very pleasant when he picked us up. Even though we were late, he proceeded with the tour as planned. He didnā€™t cut anything out. He was funny and personable. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Thanks for submitting your review about your recent tour with us. Having guests join our tours upon disembarkation from cruise ships can be complex as there are so many unknowns that can affect the process. We always do as much as we can to accommodate delays. I am happy it worked out this time. I have shared your review with John and he asked me to thank you for your kind words. He and I also thank you for your recommendation. We hope to have an opportunity to serve you again in the not too distant future.
