I live in Nashville and did not know this tour existed. My daughter, who lives out of town, found it on line. What a fascinating and important aspect of Nashville history! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. I thought I knew a good deal of Nashville history, but he taught me a number of things I did not know, which was wonderful. The morning tour may well be the better option, as downtown Nashville can get very busy in the afternoon. But even if you end up navigating the traffic and crowds, the tour is definitely worth it.

Excellent tour bringing the history and stories to life. Our guide was enthusiastic, engaging and fun to be with. We learnt lots of information on our first visit to Nashville and leave with a much better understanding of the key role the city played in the Civil Rights Movement. The tour is well paced and diverse in its experiences - from murals to key historic sites to the library civil rights exhibition. Would thoroughly recommend this tour to all.
