My sister and I had a great time at Riverwalk recreation. A very knowledgable staff which will tell you everything you need to know about whatever you are renting and even tell you tips about the area depending on where you want to go. A great experience all around from the price, to the equipment, and to the viewing sights around Fort Lauderdale. Definitely a place to visit when you're near!

There's beautiful A1A and the beach, shopping on Las Olas... But don"t miss the opportunity to tour downtown Fort Lauderdale along the beautiful New River. Riverwalk Recreation offers everything you need to enjoy time outdoors with family or solo. Bike Rentals, Quadracycle tours, Kayak by water - Segway by land rentals, get in the water with paddle board rentals or EcoBoat (electric boats that hold up to ten --- very cool) rentals. Not just for vacationers, locals will enjoy these fun activities too. Reasonably priced with friendly service to help you choose the best activity for your needs. The Downtown Himmashee entertainment district also offers lots of food and libations from food kiosks on Riverwalk to restaurants and bars off of 2 Street. As a long time resident, and local Bites/mixology columnist --- I personally recommend these activities.
