Overview

Clear Creek Canyon is unique in the quantity and quality of its rapids. It has more rapids than nearly any other commercially run stretch of whitewater in the nation. It is also free-flowing, meaning that the water levels change throughout the season, offering a variety of experiences. In addition to world-class rafting, it is also the home of the 1859 Gold Rush. Gold is still found in the creek by intrepid miners using pans and dredges. Guests will pass many sites of historical significance related to the Gold Rush while rafting on Clear Creek. Clear Creek is also conveniently located nearby Denver and other surrounding resorts, making it the perfect day-trip excursion.

It was a perfect day all around for my two sons and me! Everything was great... even the safety briefing and getting our gear! Our guide, Kurt, was really engaging and funny! He told us lots of cool stories and answered all of our questions along the way! And of course the rafting was amazing! Then we went back to their business and got to look at our pictures from going through the rapids.... they were so amazing! It was an experience with my sons that I'll never forget!! I would go back and raft with Downstream Adventures anytime, any day!

We have an amazing rafting experience! This is our second rafting adventure and this one was hands down so much better than the first. The whole process is very professional with a very chill vibe! Our guide Lindsay was fun, super experienced and had an amazing personality. If looking for a great fun experience this is your place!!

This was a great experience!!! Our guide was really fun and made us feel really good. We felt safe and in good hands the entire time. The photos (additional purchase) they took were awesome too. A great day for our group and I look forward to doing this again in the near future.
