Overview

Clear Creek Canyon is unique in the quantity and quality of its rapids. It has more rapids than nearly any other commercially run stretch of whitewater in the nation. It is also free-flowing, meaning that the water levels change throughout the season, offering a variety of experiences. In addition to world-class rafting, it is also the home of the 1859 Gold Rush. Gold is still found in the creek by intrepid miners using pans and dredges. Guests will pass many sites of historical significance related to the Gold Rush while rafting on Clear Creek. Clear Creek is also conveniently located nearby Denver and other surrounding resorts, making it the perfect day-trip excursion.

Scooby was awesome! The water was super cold, take them up on the offer for the optional waterproof jacket. Listen to the guide and you will be in good shape and have a great time! Scooby’s paddle broke while we going down the river and he calmly said “can I borrow your paddle real quick” as if it was no big deal lol. He was great and the intermediate ride was challenging and refreshing.

Russell was an excellent guide sharing fun facts about the area. He provided a safe and fun rafting ride. The water was 35 degrees so very happy they offered booties, wetsuit and jacket to keep warm. Would recommend.

Kevin was awesome! Amazing experience! Walked right in and the entire process was easy! Gear provided! Definitely cold but worth it for the amazing views and adventure!
