Overview

Clear Creek Canyon is unique in the quantity and quality of its rapids. It has more rapids than nearly any other commercially run stretch of whitewater in the nation. It is also free-flowing, meaning that the water levels change throughout the season, offering a variety of experiences. In addition to world-class rafting, it is also the home of the 1859 Gold Rush. Gold is still found in the creek by intrepid miners using pans and dredges. Guests will pass many sites of historical significance related to the Gold Rush while rafting on Clear Creek. Clear Creek is also conveniently located nearby Denver and other surrounding resorts, making it the perfect day-trip excursion.

This company was awesome from start to finish. We had Marky Mark as a guide and he was awesome! I would definitely recommend doing the intermediate group even if it’s your first time, it was very enjoyable! I will definitely be coming back in the near future- have to bring the husband! Thank you for a fantastic time! I would recommend this company and activity to all family and friends!!

Our previous appointment was cancelled with another company (BUMMER) but luckily someone suggested Downstream Adventure and I’m grateful they did! Awesome people who love what they do and are helpful! Shout out to our guide Marky Mark for being patient with us and all around awesome guide from start to end!

Great experience, lot of fun, definitively go for it !! I was wondering if the intermediate level was the right one for me but clearly a good choice. Very professional folks, everything explained so I've had a very good time. Clearly a must do while in Colorado ;)
