Overview

Clear Creek Canyon is unique in the quantity and quality of its rapids. It has more rapids than nearly any other commercially run stretch of whitewater in the nation. It is also free-flowing, meaning that the water levels change throughout the season, offering a variety of experiences. In addition to world-class rafting, it is also the home of the 1859 Gold Rush. Gold is still found in the creek by intrepid miners using pans and dredges. Guests will pass many sites of historical significance related to the Gold Rush while rafting on Clear Creek. Clear Creek is also conveniently located nearby Denver and other surrounding resorts, making it the perfect day-trip excursion.

Just a dang good time. Me, Husband and two grown kiddos. Well done safety talk, excellent equipment, lovely scenery and never felt unsafe. Guide Maxwell was experienced, confident and engaging. Lots of laughs pinballing off boats and happy screams during bigger rapids.

Had an absolute blast today on the intermediate trip on Clear Creek! It was late in the season so we did the advanced section of the river, but the water was low so it was down a level of difficulty, but still challenging and exhilarating!! Marky Marky was the guide who gave our safety brief and he has over 10 years experience as a guide. Actually he mentioned all the guides on staff have over 7 years experience and it shows! My group chose Marky Mark as our boat guide because he seemed to know his stuff and that he did! Funny and knowledgeable and gives great instruction. My words won’t do this experience justice... if you’ve never gone white water rafting (or you want to again) and you want to have a great time. Go with Downstream Adventure Rafting! You won’t regret it. Thanks again, Mark!
