Overview

Clear Creek Canyon is unique in the quantity and quality of its rapids. It has more rapids than nearly any other commercially run stretch of whitewater in the nation. It is also free-flowing, meaning that the water levels change throughout the season, offering a variety of experiences. In addition to world-class rafting, it is also the home of the 1859 Gold Rush. Gold is still found in the creek by intrepid miners using pans and dredges. Guests will pass many sites of historical significance related to the Gold Rush while rafting on Clear Creek. Clear Creek is also conveniently located nearby Denver and other surrounding resorts, making it the perfect day-trip excursion.

I signed up at the last minute for the tour and was completely accommodated by the customer service agent at Downstream Adventures. Abby was our instructor and was encouraging and passionate throughout the whole experience! Made the tour exciting and inspiring! A "MUST-DO" if you're looking for a great adventure in colorado!

My friends and I were in Denver for a get together, and we wanted to do something outdoors. This was my first time rafting, and while the water was cold for a guy from Florida I still had a great time. Our guide Abby did an amazing job of teaching us how to use the boat properly, and helped a group of beginners get through the rapids without a problem. It was a professional and smoothly run operation. Next time I am in the area I will try the advanced course

My first time rafting and I believe his name is Mack was such an amazing guide! My fiancé and I had such an amazing time that we already booked for Saturday! We will be doing the advanced one! Thanks to everyone who made this experience very memorable.
