Adventure through Shell Key Preserve in your 100% clear kayak! See crystal-clear water, diverse marine life, and the underwater world below your clear kayak.

You’ll paddle along mangroves, enjoy white sand beaches and sandbars, and explore a secluded beach. If the tide is high, your guide will lead the way through a hidden mangrove tunnel. Shell Key Preserve is located in Tierra Verde, FL near St. Pete Beach in the Tampa Bay area.

Keep your eyes peeled for dolphins, manatees, pelicans, crabs, and more while enjoying the preserve’s picturesque mangroves, beaches, and sandbars. Be on the lookout for a manatee or the beautiful pink Roseate Spoonbills in the summer months. White Pelicans call the sandbars of Shell Key Preserve their home during the winter months! Throughout the year, dolphins frolic in the crystal-clear waters and cormorants love to swim alongside your kayak. Chances are that you’ll see a variety of wildlife, but sightings are random and not guaranteed.

This was a most amazing experience, and so good to get away from the busy beaches and experience the quiet and tranquility of nature! Our guide Raven was super knowledgeable and great fun. A perfect escape from the hustle and bustle to create great memories. ❤️

Lots of fun! Raven is the best guide in the biz. We saw several dolphins and other wildlife. We would definitely do this again.

We went for a kayak trip for my sister's 40th birthday. The ages in our group ranged from 8 to 68 and everyone had an excellent time! The kayaking is nice exercise, but our amazing guide, Jenna, knew exactly when we needed to take a quick break to chat about the wildlife or a longer break in the mangrove trees or collecting shells. Jenna had so much enthusiasm and awe of the wildlife around her that she made all of us fascinated with birds for the rest of our week in Florida. The clear boats were really cool but, honestly, the scenery, birds, and Jenna made the trip 5 stars.
