Adventure through Shell Key Preserve in your 100% clear kayak! See crystal-clear water, diverse marine life, and the underwater world below your clear kayak.

You’ll paddle along mangroves, enjoy white sand beaches and sandbars, and explore a secluded beach. If the tide is high, your guide will lead the way through a hidden mangrove tunnel. Shell Key Preserve is located in Tierra Verde, FL near St. Pete Beach in the Tampa Bay area.

Keep your eyes peeled for dolphins, manatees, pelicans, crabs, and more while enjoying the preserve’s picturesque mangroves, beaches, and sandbars. Be on the lookout for a manatee or the beautiful pink Roseate Spoonbills in the summer months. White Pelicans call the sandbars of Shell Key Preserve their home during the winter months! Throughout the year, dolphins frolic in the crystal-clear waters and cormorants love to swim alongside your kayak. Chances are that you’ll see a variety of wildlife, but sightings are random and not guaranteed.

I had an amazing adventure today with Chris guiding throughout the trip! The atmosphere was very welcoming and he was knowledgeable to tell us more in details about natural environment and habitat. I love nature and I was happy to learn more about it. He was very respectful and whole adventure was in relax and fun vibe! I would not wish any better experience! And we saw the 🐬🐬🐬😜Def would love to do more trips with Chris! Nastassia

Our tour was great! Jenna was an amazing tour guide and even had a bandaid for us! She knew so much about the marine life and was patient with us (ages 13 - 74) . Saw slug, jellyfish, horseshoe crab and dolphins! We love it! Book this tour!

I did this tour with my Dad (age 72) and two sons (ages 11 and 15) and everyone had an awesome time. We were all first-timers but had no issues whatsoever. Chris, our guide, was excellent — he was extremely knowledgeable, super friendly and very enthusiastic — clearly someone who appreciates the kayaking as well as all the incredible natural beauty of the area. All four of us would highly recommend this to anyone and would very much recommend Chris! Thank you!!
