Overview

Adventure through Tarpon Springs in your 100% clear kayak! You’ll enjoy a tranquil paddle through the bayous of Tarpon Springs. You’ll launch from the Tarpon Springs Yacht Club, kayak through the bayous, see Victorian-style mansions, and pass by the picturesque Craig Park. You’ll then paddle into Spring Bayou, a warm water area with frequent manatee sightings!

Look for manatees while you take in the scenery. Manatees use the warmer water of Spring Bayou as a sanctuary during the winter months. Along the way, your guide will keep an eye out for other wildlife including dolphins and a variety of birds. Chances are that you’ll see a variety of wildlife, but sightings are random and not guaranteed.

Learn about Tarpon Springs from your 5-star rated eco-tour guide. Hear about local history, wildlife, and ecosystems. Along the way, you’ll hear about Greek culture and the famous Sponge Docks. Your guide will be happy to take photos and make sure you have fun along the way!

What To Expect

Craig Park

You'll paddle through the beautiful bayous of Tarpon Springs, stopping at Craig Park, which is at the very heart of Tarpon Springs. You'll paddle by the incredible Victorian-style mansions from the town's first settlers in the 19th Century.

Our tour with Raven was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable about the area and wildlife but more importantly she was a blast. We didn’t see any manatees but encountered 3 dolphins playing in the wake of some jet skis near us. They continued to play just feet from our kayaks and then swam right under us! I plan on doing a tour with Raven at Shell Key next ! 5 star experience, worth every penny !!!!!

We had a great tour with Charlie. My husband and I took our 12 year old daughter. it was her first time kayaking and after a few minutes figuring it all out she did great. The trip was wonderful because there were only a few motorized boats so you could just paddle and take in nature and not have to worry about boats. Charlie was knowledgeable about the wildlife and the Tarpon Springs area and just very personable. A dolphin popped up right by our kayak! It felt like it was in the kayak with us! We are locals so we will definitely do this again locally when we have family in from out of town and we intend to go somewhere else in Florida in the next few weeks!
