Clear Kayak Tour with Pontoons - Olowalu, Maui

Overview

Paddle out on a guided tour over majestic coral heads in search of Maui's vast array of sea life. The bottom of the clear kayak magnifies the reef and all of the creatures below you. Pontoon attachments make the kayaks almost impossible to tip and impossible to sink. All tours are small and intimate with only 10 guests per guide. Fun for the whole family. Beginners welcome.

From December to April you can expect to see the Humpback Whales that migrate here for breeding.

As a premium tour company you can expect the best quality equipment. Our kayaks were recently manufactured. Life vests are sized to the guest. Rash guards, sunscreen and dry bags are provided at no extra cost. Our guides are CPR trained, passionate about conservation and have a deep understanding of the flora and fauna you will encounter while on your tour.

We are the only kayaking for charity company on Maui. Every seat booked helps support UHMC!

What To Expect

Maui

Paddle out into the Alalakeiki Channel with our experienced and knowledgeable guides. As you glide across our beautiful reefs the clear kayak acts as one big snorkel mask that magnifies the reef below. With a vast array of wildlife you never know what you will see like octopus, eels, sea turtles, manta rays, seals and schools of fish like the humuhumunukunukuapua'a just to name a few. Our professional photographer and drone operator on shore not only bring peace of mind by being an eye in the sky but are there to capture once in a lifetime moments as you, your friends and family experience the beauty Maui has to offer up close and personal. Photo/video package with drone and go pro footage available for an extra fee. We provide long sleeve rashguard, reef safe sunscreen, refillable water bottle with ice cold R/O water, dry bag, bananas/granola while on the water and fresh cut local pineapple on your return to the shore.

My fiancé and I had the best time on the water with Jason! We learned so much about the ocean, the history of Maui, and more from him. We spent the rest of our day talking about what a great experience we had. Truly, some of the best customer experience I have ever encountered. Jason and his son Gabriel are so kind and helpful, we would come back just for this to her again! The kayaks provide a unique view of the coral and ocean life below you. I am not a fan of the open water, but Jason made me feel very comfortable and having the pontoons allowed for a lot of stability. I felt safe and secure throughout the tour. They have dry bags for your phone and other items. It was also nice to be provided sunscreen, water, and a long sleeve shirt for the kayak. Even better was the fresh pineapple after our tour was over! Thank you, Jason and Gabriel for a wonderful time!

My family and I vacationed in Maui. When we were heading to our resort, we drove by Gabriel's Ohana truck and stopped by to check it out, that is how we met this wonderful family and felt so comfortable with the quality of service they provide. It is important to note that I am not a swimmer, I am quite uncomfortable when it comes to head in the water and if you or someone in your family is looking for a company that cares and will make everything in their power to make you comfortable while snorkeling, look no further! They have all sizes of life vests, their vests have whistles attached, they have rash guards available, they have sunblock that does not damage the reefs, they have all the snorkeling equipment, their kayaks have see-through flat bottoms and have floating devices on both sides which make them impossible to flip! I was having a hard time with snorkeling at first with getting comfortable with my head underwater despite having a vest and the equipment was perfectly fitted for me, so the father (Jason) spent time focused on teaching me techniques and getting me comfortable. I LOVED snorkeling after that and even saw a turtle! Absolutely recommend this company! They are very knowledgeable, from ocean to island history. And they did welcome us back to shore with cut-up pineapple. 10/10!!!
