What's Included

Use of kayak with life jackets, paddles, whistles.

All guests will be placed in a tandem/double seated kayak unless you have an odd number of guests in your party. Then the solo guest will be set up in a single seated kayak.

What To Expect

Fort Pierce

Our guide will lead you through the winding mangrove tunnels and mazes near the Fort Pierce Inlet State Park. This will come with many great photo and video opportunities!

Fort Pierce

We'll get you checked in right when you arrive to allow for the most possible time on the water! Once you're all checked in, we'll give some basic paddle instructions and safety information about the tour ahead. We'll get you loaded up into your clear kayak and off we go! The paddle will last about 2 to 2.5 hours, depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. We could encounter, turtles, dolphins, manatees, various fish and all types of birds along our way to the mangrove tunnels. We will be sure to take plenty of pictures and give some awesome unique facts about the area on our several picturesque stopping points! We'll shortly find our way into mangrove tunnels, which will keep us shaded and ease the paddle effort. Along the way we will search for local marine life and also give our guests some unique facts about the surrounding area, plant life, and wildlife we encounter. There will even be a couple chances for us to get out and enjoy the refreshing water and search for marine life! Get ready for a great time and enjoyable paddling!

We arrived and waited for one other couple. Make sure to apply suntan lotion you’ll be in the sun for at least an hour - under shady mangrove tunnels for the the other hour. Todd our guide was very professional and gave interesting facts of the lagoon and the wildlife that live in the estuary. Watch out for the mangrove crabs! He actually stopped along the way and picked up a large upside down jellyfish. Along the tour we stopped at a sand bar and saw hundreds of small fiddler crabs, hermit crabs and juvenile upside down jellyfish which my wife gladly volunteered to hold in her palm. We brought drinks and had extra suntan lotion to reapply. Life jackets and a dry bag for phones and keys are provided - thanks again Todd for a great tour.

We had the most amazing tour with Julia! She is very knowledgeable and a great person to chat with about the local wildlife and ecosystems. On our tour we were lucky enough to see pufferfish, turtles, ospreys, a great blue heron, and a manatee! I cannot recommend the morning tour enough as it wasn't too hot out and high tide made for some really cool paddling through the mangrove tunnels. We were fortunate enough to be the only ones on the trip, so it was like a personal guided tour just for us. I especially enjoyed walking around the sandbar to look for crabs and other critters. My husband and I absolutely loved this excursion and would gladly do it again. I've already recommended it to my parents! Thank you again, Julia! It was incredible!

My sister and I had a great time here in one of their transparent kayaks. Our guide, Todd, gave us great instructions and encouragement, as we are “rookie” kayakers. We paddled through the mangroves and learned so much about that ecosystem while we were having fun! Todd is very knowledgeable about the Indian River Estuary and was able to show us so much that we would likely have overlooked without him. He even offered to “tow” us if we got tired of paddling (we didn’t!). The company provided us with dry bags for our cameras and some really wonderful all organic insect stuff that left us bite-free ! This company also does a night excursion which I would love to try next. I highly recommend this tour for people of all ages (Im 71 - if I can do it so can anyone!).
