Overview

Minutes from the famous Weeki Wachee Springs State Park mermaids see the river from a whole new perspective with this kayaking tour! Ride in a clear kayak- which has the advantage of greater visibility of the underwater world. Kayak quiet and calm coastal waters before paddling up the active and beautiful spring-fed waters of the river. Be on the lookout for wildlife like manatees, turtles, fish, birds and much more! A great adventure for beginners but we do paddle upstream for the first half of the tour, which is a great workout and worth the drift paddle back to the launch site. Your guide will stop for pics along the away! Expect an adventure that is part wild and part urban as this iconic river is a popular one to enjoy living and recreating on! We stay in our kayaks for the duration of the tour. Please remember the river and wildlife is subject to daily changes in behavior and conditions. All kayaks are tandem. Weight limit of 250lbs per seat and 425lbs per kayak.

Lisa our tour guide was amazing!! Hilarious and friendly with loads of knowledge on the ecology and local area! The owners Taylor and Danny are great too!! Beautiful location to paddle and support great people!!

Our tour guide Dave was wonderful. Very friendly and informative about the eco and responsibilities the company takes to assure the rivers, channels and wildlife is preserved in its natural state. The experience was tranquil and breath taking. I can't wait to experience other locations kayaking Florida's nature and waters.

Taylor and Danny were both amazing and so accommodating. Me, my 12 yr old daughter and her friend had a wonderful time on the evening sunset tour. Absolutely beautiful! Got to see a bald eagle and her nest. The girls had so many questions and Taylor is super intelligent and was more than happy to answer all questions plus give us a wealth of additional information! They were so laid back and easy going. Amazing experience! Our trip was originally in the 3:00 slot but due to weather had to be rescheduled- again very accommodating! Thanks again y’all for giving the girls a very memorable experience!
