What To Expect

Clearwater Beach

Back on the beach, you’ve got plenty of free time to do as you wish. Relax under a beach umbrella, rent watersports equipment for snorkeling or bodyboarding, go for a swim or enjoy a walk on Clearwater’s incredibly soft sand. This fabulous day of fishing, sun and fun also includes a voucher for lunch from a nearby street café (if option selected). Eat onsite or have a picnic at the beach. Alcoholic drinks, soda and water are sold separately. In total, you’ll have about seven to eight hours in Clearwater before your return to Orlando.

We were picked up by the bus, traveled two hours to our destination. When we arrived we were told that we are not going out on our fishing trip because not enough people signed up. We were stranded for five hours waiting for the bus to return to our hotel. Our tour guide was insulting! She wanted to substitute our four hour fishing trip with an hour dolphin tour. When I spoke to her about my refund she acted like I didn’t deserve a refund because I got on the bus. She said well did you go to the beach? The bus dropped us off on the beach. We had to sit in the heat all day waiting to return. The Uber to return was over $100. We lost one full day of our vacation. Do not use this company.

Excellent trip!! Looking forward to it again!!! Next year with wife & kids! Caught a bunch of fish, they cut them all up for me, & we brought them to the restaurant to cook! Captain was a great guy.

The actual boat and fishing trip was nice. We caught a bunch of fish, the staff on Super Queen were excellent. I chose the lunch option we received a voucher for Crabby’s we get there and were given a smaller menu to select from, I was disappointed to be sent to a crab 🦀 place and no crab on the small menu. So in addition to what I paid as part of the excursion I paid another $100 for crab legs and drinks. Food was excellent!!! Don’t go with the lunch option if your a foodie or trying to make a timed boat ride. The bus and tour guide were two friendly ladies and explained everything to us and met us for our excursion and made sure we were on time to the boat and back on the bus. I felt a little rushed since we met the bus at 7am arrived by bus to Clearwater, FL at 10:15, and had to have lunch 11-12:45 and then be at the boat at 12:45pm. We didn’t get to enjoy the beach like I wanted. It’s best and more comfortable to drive yourself and the deep sea fishing is only $62 once you’re already there versus paying $133 per person with lunch that is limited. Overall a great time!
