What To Expect

Clearwater Beach

After pickup from your hotel, head to Florida’s west coast aboard your comfortable coach. During the bus ride, approximately 1.5 hours from Orlando to Clearwater, your driver will inform you about what you’ll find at Florida’s Gulf of Mexico. When you arrive, explore at your leisure – swim, sunbathe or take a walk – digging your toes into miles of soft, white sand at Clearwater Beach. If you wish, rent a beach umbrella and chair, as well as snorkeling and other watersports equipment – all available on the beach. Browse the souvenir shops for T-shirts or postcards, or head down to Pier 60 and watch the pelicans gather around the fishermen’s daily catch. When you’re hungry for lunch, simply use your voucher (if option selected) at the marina café across the street from the beach; you can eat there or enjoy a Clearwater Beach picnic. Alcoholic drinks, soda and water are sold separately. In total, you’ll have about seven to eight hours in Clearwater, depending on traffic from Orlando. If you wish to upgrade your tour, you can choose from a speedboat ride aboard the Sea Screamer, head to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium or enjoy a dolphin cruise!

The sand was so white and like powder. We sat on the beach 🏖️ and just admired everything. Went for lunch and had a great meal. Our tour guide was very friendly. Pointed out things of interest. His name was Luiz

We did the excursion on 26/08 and had a great day - having been to Clearwater before, we didn’t book any of the optional extras and just enjoyed our day. It was a very hot day and we aren’t a sit on a beach all day family, so we mainly spent our time browsing the shops and walking up and down the beach front walk and Pier 60. Our guide Luiz was excellent, keeping us well informed and offering us plenty of drinks and snacks during the drive from Orlando. The driver was also great - getting us through some very bad weather and traffic. All In all a great day, and just long enough to suit our energy levels (and the weather). It would be great to have an option to see the sunset - maybe offering a later departure from Orlando and / or an overnight stay option would be popular?
