I'm a local and wanted to do this tour to experience new (to me) places in the North End. It was a great way to taste desserts and drinks from some new (to me) bakeries and restaurants while also learning some history about both the North End and Boston! Pat, the tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and kept surprising me with the amount of information he knew about the desserts, drinks, the North End, and history. It was a lot of fun! I would definitely recommend this tour if you're looking for a fun way to experience the North End without the crowds (we got to skip a lot of lines)!!

I'm a local and decided to take the tour to learn a little about the North End and to experience some restaurants other than my usual go-tos. I was joined by a local couple hoping to do the same. The tour did not disappoint. Not only did we enjoy a ton of delicious desserts and drinks (I highly recommend the Almond Joy cocktail at Corner Cafe--a bar I had never been to before), but we did a fair amount of walking along some of the quieter, less traveled streets and alleys. We also got to attend a chocolate-making demo and sit in on a talk at the Old North Church. Plus, who doesn't love a cannoli taste-off between Mike's and Modern pastries? Pat, the guide, was very knowledgeable about the history of the area, many of the restaurants, and even the history behind the food and drinks we were enjoying. Overall it was a great way to spend a beautiful fall afternoon. I'll definitely be returning with friends.

I can’t say enough great things about Pat and the tour. First off, great communication pre tour via text to coordinate. We were lucky to have just our 3 in the tour, so very personalized. Pat’s knowledge of local history is great and his ability to make it fun is really apprecaited. The fun never stopped with the cannoli taste off was a master stroke. I can’t wait to take this tour again! It was great to find hidden gems in the North End and to skip lines at popular spots. Perfect pacing with drinks and sweets, and walking!
