Overview

With the help of our roaster guide you will learn how coffee is processed and roasted and the impacts on flavors. As one of the largest certified Organic coffee Farm in Kona we do all our roast in house. You will participate in 2 of our production roast and will be able to run the second one yourself with the elp of our roaster.

We thoroughly enjoyed our coffee tour. Sara was a great guide, explaining everything coffee. We purchased a great variety of coffees to give for holiday gifts. A fun experience overall!

Fabulous coffee brewing tour. Elle (sp?) did a great job of explaining the roasting and preparation of beans which added to our knowledge. Then she compares and had us participate in making pour over, French press and then espresso!! It made it abundantly clear why each has its merits for those of us with different tastes. Super helpful and of course plenty of coffee! We were pressed for time so didn’t do the farm tour but we will be back.

Hala Tree was a great experience. Our guide Kira was knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a ton about the complex process of coffee growing. Definitely recommend!
