When I got the tickets I thought it was for a group tour. I called the 800 # and Customer Service told me we would be shuttling in a group of 9. When we got to the Visitor Center they told me the tickets were for a self/guided tour. I was very disappointed and felt the ad for this “tour” was misleading.

We went after the pandemic when they had almost nothing open. They should not be charging full price until they are back to full service. Didn't even have maps to handout. Big disappointment.

We were there the first day of their reopening. Yes things were different but the one constant was the love and pride that the staff have to tell the history of this town. They tried their hardest to make things as normal as possible, and I’m sure it was hard for them, but they excelled at making our tours and visits enjoyable. We’re visiting again in the fall and I hope there will be more houses to tour and I’m hoping the taverns will be open. I really missed the play booth and the escape room and I’m crossing my fingers it’ll return by the time we return for another visit. Overall, I feel we got our money’s worth and still had a great time.
