I was surprised by how much I loved listening to the guides tell stories about the history of the building. It made the buildings that didn't have guides a disappointment. Great place to take kids to introduce how it was in the 1700's

We knew what was available (dates, days and times) as far as sites we were interested in visiting on our tour. Once we established that, we shopped for tickets for senior, adults and children (based on ages). We purchased our tickets at AAA. Very convenient and helpful in obtaining what we needed. So much to see there, so zero in on what sites are important first then fill in the rest of your time. Been there many times, but really enjoyed this time as we got into the places where we could see and hear how the people lived during that time period.

Yesteryear was fun to experience. The shops had the shop keepers in costume and talking about the work they did Eating at the taverns was really good we were there just before Christmas so they had it decorated The way they did years ago.
