Yesterday December 7th My daughter and her friends went to the Color Factor for friend Madison Birthday. They had a blast. Very Colorful, cute and tasty refreshments, and it was mental and physical activity. They have a cute gift shop where you could purchase items, we bought some cute socks. I was hoping they had a little more activity but I guess it was enough for the time allotted.

This is a very overpriced experience. It might be entertaining to a 10 yr old for a second but I doubt it. It looks like a repainted empty building and there’s very little other capital outlay expense put into this place. The jump ball room and small lighted dance floor were the only major costs. Everything else Included in this silly course included things like crayons, written words on walls and paper, and small candy or ice cream bites. The tickets were $38 and obviously the money is used to have approx 20-25 employees stand around to man each room, which was not necessary to figure out what to do. The first negative thing that happened as soon as we walked in is that we were told we had to go stand in the corner in order to buy our tickets online. Never mind the 7 employees standing around in the lobby doing absolutely nothing. There was only 3 other visitors there at the time. They had more employees standing in the coat room. Tidbits we were told to sit on the steps and wait our turn. After waiting about 10 minutes an employee asked us why we were sitting down and to get up and stand and wait in line, but even though there was no one else in line. They made it a point to instruct us not to touch the hanging paper from the ceiling while they stood glaring at us , the only visitors the entire time. We never tried to touch it or anything else. We only did what we were instructed thus far: stand in corner, sit on steps, get up, don’t touch ceiling. It was ridiculously juvenile in every way. Please adults and older kids, don’t waste your time or money. Buy a coloring book instead and have $ leftover to buy a nice dinner.
