The Fisher Towers section of the Colorado River is heavy on scenery, with some fun rapids (depending on the water level/time of year). This is an area where many motion pictures and commercials have been filmed over the years. John Wayne and John Ford filmed a lot of old westerns in this area. Most recently filmed in this area was The Lone Ranger with Johnny Depp & Armie Hammer (2013).

Beautiful scenic float down the river with very minimal rapids. Views from the river are gorgeous and there were hardly any other rafts present. Our guide was knowledgeable about the area and was very kind. Other than the scenic beauty of the rocks, we also saw deer, fish, multiple birds, a set from a Kevin Costner movie which is filming on the banks and a few homes and ranches that are lucky enough to be situated in this beautiful place. Very enjoyable way to spend a few hours!

We started our Moab vacation with this calm water rafting trip and it was everything we hoped for and more. Jacob was our guide and he was professional, skilled, and entertaining. He even loaned us his sunscreen, as the sun was more intense than we expected. We took the tour that started at noon, which included lunch and some free time to wade or swim in the water before the tour continued.

It was more of a "Float" not so much rafting. We had 4 adults and 3 Teens. We were so bored. It is a pretty float down the river but that is all. They are well run and the rafts were in good shape. Our guide was very nice but would not do this adventure again. For the pricing I would give it 3 starts and caution those with an adventurous active spirit to consider a more challenging excursion where you actually need to paddle. (You actually can't paddle on this).
