Overview

A rare opportunity to see the ancient bond between man and bird. In a small group, you will interact with a variety of hawks, falcons and owls, learn their natural history and their differences, and see an unforgettable flying demonstration. The Beginners Experience culminates with a chance for you
to put on a glove and hold a trained falcon.

There is a licensed falconer who oversees and presents each experience. The birds engage only by their own will.

We enjoyed a wonderful and informative experience with falcons, hawks and owls. Roger was great and gave us an amazing experience, he’s an expert in his field and answered all our questions during his demonstration. I was an awesome day!

What a great decision to take this class! It seemed expensive, but it was worth every cent and more. Deanna was the falconer who introduced us to the birds and explained the differences in the various raptors. She gave provided a wealth of information that was interesting and educational. She was enthusiastic and engaged throughout the lesson. She gave interesting demonstrations inside and outside. We left wanting to go back for the intermediate lesson, which you can take within a year.
